Iphone Pro Max 11 Safari hangs when loading pages on home wifi

Have noticed that safari on my new iPhone Pro Max 11 will often hang with the progress bar only ~10% completed while trying to load pages on my home wifi. I'll often have to hit reload to get it going, then it works fine. Other devices like an ipad, iPhone 8, and Surface Pro don't have any such lag. The phone doesn't have this problem when on cellular data or at my work's wifi.

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot? Some kind of DNS lookup issue?

First thing to try, if you haven’t already, would be to reset network settings, then reconnect to your WiFi and see if the issue persists.
