I upgraded my iPhone 3G to 3.0 and since then I've been having troubles with calls when using the phone on my right side.

The proximity sensor seems extremely (more or less) sensitive and only seems to notice that the phone is against my head when pushed painfully tightly against me.

On my left side, it seems to work fine, but this has happened since Wednesday (GM release) and I've managed to hit keypad, hold, mute, and contacts multiple times.

I have an appointment at the Apple Store today but I'm also hoping for some input from you guys.

Thanks!

I too have had the same problem. Ever since 3.0 on my iPhone 3G, while in a call, the mute button or even keypad numbers will be heard as I'm talking with it pressed against my head. Never had that problem before 3.0.
