iphone proxy

Hi, I use my school's library proxy to get journal access. Is there a way to set this proxy up on an iphone?

i haven't tried setting a proxy, but i did find where the settings are inputted. on settings -> wi-fi, click on the arrow next to your connected network and then scroll down. you can manually set your proxy there.

Does this work if I'm not using wi-fi? I'd like to get journal access just through 3G.

that i do not know. perhaps it could be set up somehow under the VPN config info? somebody smarter than me will have to answer that one.
