Can you dowload iPad apps to your iPhone?

Then transfer/sync them to your mac,

Then transfer to iPad?

Just wondering as I am considering an unlimited tarrif for iPhone.

And I can download iPhone apps to my ipad but I dont have a phone yet.

No to ipad only apps to iphone, but yes to iphone apps on ipad.

You can buy them directly in itunes on your Mac and then sync them to the appropriate device (excepting of course that ipad only apps will only sync to ipad).
