iPhone question for Monday 7/14

I called the Apple store and was told they would have them tomorrow, I was wondering if anyone knew if apple stores will have the new iphone when they open because I intend on getting there by 9 am since I work at 10 so I don't have time to call them in the morning, thanks!

At 9pm they update to tell you if your nearest Apple Store will have them the next day...

According to Apple's website no iPhone 3G's will be available tomorrow at my local Apple store.

I just found that too, but is it likely that they will get a shipment at some point during the day and start selling them right away?

I found out today that the 9pm time limit is based on the time you assign to your computer. If you set your local time to be after 9pm, the Apple site will show you the availability.

More than likely, no shipments on Sunday = depleted stock on Monday.

New Jersey is similarly devoid of iPhones. Only Menlo Park and Paramus have some iPhones. No black 16GB anywhere.

so the question becomes:

1) stores get shipments on Monday for sale Tuesday only

or

2) stores get shipments in on Monday for sale Tuesday and to sell on Monday as well

if its 2, even though everything says out of stock, if you happen to go in after the shipment comes in, you might get lucky.
