For any of you that have a little money around and have an interest in radio control airplanes, helicopters, or cars/trucks, this is a very cool little gadget. It's called the iPhly (pronounced I Fly).
How it works is you plug in a 2.4GHz radio control transmitter module such as the Spektrum DM-8, Futaba FASST TM-8, or Futaba style FrSky module into this iPhly unit. Then you plug the headphone cable into your iPhone/iPod Touch headphone jack and use the free iPhly app to control a vehicle of some sort. It's perfect for the ParkZone Ultra Micro BNF airplanes or 4 channel helicopters but will also work with full scale Spektrum receivers, Futaba FASST receivers, or the FrSky units if you use those modules instead. The software is always being updated so it will keep getting better as time goes by. Currently, only three or four channel planes or helicopters are supported. Next on the update list for the developer is mixing for V-tail wings and delta wings. You can also run trucks with it as well and the throttle returns back to 0.
I didn't find anywhere that said you couldn't sell here so I'll try it out but if I am not supposed to, please let me know so I can put it in the appropriate location and please let me know where I can post this appropriately.
What is included in this sale is the iPhly unit itself. What you'll need for this is an iPhone/iPod Touch and a transmitter module of your choosing. If you don't have one, I would recommend the FrSky module and receiver combination for approximately $35 at Hobby King to get you started as it comes with the module, antenna, and receiver.
It makes a great portable transmitter for anyone who wants to keep a small transmitter in the car or wants to travel with it.
I would like to get $80 shipped in the CONUS for it. It is $100 brand new before shipping so is discounted 20% for having been used only once.
Again, if there is a more appropriate place to post this, please let me know where I can post it to sell.
If you need feedback of some sort, you can go to www.rcgroups.com and check under the same name. I buy and sell a lot over there.
Thanks.
