iphone randomly rings

My iPhone randomly rings, like someone is calling, but when i look to see caller theres no details, unlike when u actually receive a call.
i actually got to swipe right to unlock the phone n it stopped ringing.
Does anyone know war causes this?
it doesnt seem to be linked with reminders, calendar events.
