iPhone raw and photos app

Hi everyone,
Once I take raw photos on my iPhone and they go on my Mac photos app and I edit them, does anyone know a way to convert them to jpeg easily without exporting it and reimporting it or is this another lack of attention from apple and it can’t be done?
