Anybody have any news about this?
I'm getting tired of waiting to buy my new iMac with the rebate and I wish apple would hurry up?
They did say this week, didn't they?

Yes, Steve did say this week. My guess is that it will come tomorrow. In time to get people into the stores on the weekend.

Don't worry, its coming.

now heres the big question that i realized a little while ago.

What? You didn't get yours yet?

J/K Just go buy your iMac. $100 wouldn't even cover the tax.

it'll be interesting to see if it comes out tomorrow (friday), and if so, how quickly you're able to use it. So if it comes out tomorrow, how will they credit you and how are you using it at the apple store? Is it usable quickly or 4-6 weeks?

are you serious...? you guys talk like rich kings. $100 is A LOT of money for many people.
Seriously. If you can save $100 on an iMac by waiting a few more days, you should definitely do it. $100 is $100.

And people wonder why Mac users have a stereotype of being rich elitists.

exactly. Hope its usable tomorrow cuz I might be going to an apple store

Don't hold your breath. They will probably have you register through the web site with your iPhone serial number, since they will be dealing with both Apple Store and AT&T Store customers, they'll match up that that serial number was sold before the price drop, and then they'll give you a choice between an online store coupon code, which they will probably e-mail you, or an Apple Store gift card, which they will then postal mail you.

It won't be a bring in your phone and receipt and get a credit deal. They'd plow under the stores with customers coming in to get their credits.

Gah... I want my $100.
And I was planning on going to the Apple Store tomorrow to get an iPod touch..:(

That's not cool. I want to use my credit (I get two) to buy a new iMac this weekend before the back-to-school ipod offer is over.

Come on already!

Is this a silly question? Why would you want an iPhone and an iPod touch? I mean an iPhone and a nano or classic, I could understand, but why the same thing with fewer features?
