iPhone reboots during backup after IOS4?

I have an iPhone 3G, it works fine with IOS4 and not having issues that others are having ex. slowness etc but having problems with syncing...

Windows 7, iPhone 3G, IOS4

My problem is that everytime I try to sync with my computer, it shows the intial preparation of backup but when I press the X on it before I upgraded it will cancel the backup and allow it to sync but now not anymore it cancel my sync. My problem is that when I let it do the backup it reboots my iPhone after a while so I can never get a full backup (haven't gotten one yet since IOS4).

Right now, I am waiting for the backup bar to progress a little then when I press the little X it cancels backup and syncs my phone...

What is happening?

I have the same problem too.

I have a 3G and laptop is on vista. The sync can run for 2 to 20 minutes until it reboots. I have tried many things to get the phoine to sync from removing programs and email accounts to reinstalling OS4

Already tried a full restore without success, still getting the same issues

Your not restoring from backup right?
Your setting up as new phone after the restore.
