Hi,
I recently unlocked the Iphone 1st gen using Ziphone. The process went with no problems and I am able to use the iphone with my existing SIM card. Since I have started using Iphone, I am receiving calls from unknown numbers at unusual times. Does anyone know if unlocking an iphone would expose the phone number to people? Is there a way to block these calls or something?

Can anyone help?

Manish

Unlocking your iphone would have zip to do with you getting calls.

Have you signed up for anything lately and provided your phone number? Donated to a political campaign? Let your credit card expire on a gym membership?

It's just a case of bad timing.
Unlocking does not do anything with your number.

I've used Ziphone and Pwnage on many phones without issues.

Thank you very much !
