iPhone removed from PC while doing the auto sync with iTunes

Hiya

Today this morning I connected my iphone to my PC and accidently quickly disconnected the USB cable a couple seconds later while it was still doing the usual auto sync stuff with iTunes. Was wondering could this corrupt or damage any files in my iphone or PC? Sorry for my awkward tone and many thanks in advance.

Why ask us, hook it back up see if it syncs normally.

I believe the old days of, you had to eject the iPod before disconnecting, is not longer valid.
