Iphone removing gmail "Inbox" label from my email and doing the disappearing act!

Anybody else experiencing this problem? The email comes onto the phone fine and then after like 2-3 checking of email it disappears and does not show in the phone inbox. It does not show in gmail's inbox as well but shows up in all mail.

Has anybody else had this issue? I've set my gmail as an exchange account if this helps.

Ya this happens on my phone...in fact happened twice today on my AOL account. Its been doing this since I got it in June

How did you setup your account? Via the gmail option or exchange?
