Hi there,

I bought my iPhone 3G off my tutor last year, in perfect working order etc ... but recently it's not working (Long story) it was under warrenty but now it's not, I was wondering if you guys think I could go to an Apple store and ask for a cheap replacement? (Even refurb).

I'd just like to know before I go into there as I'm quite busy most of the time.

It depends on how long the warranty expired. I'm just taking an educated guess if it wasn't that long, the Apple store staff are pretty friendly, and understanding. I brought in an iPod Touch 2G two days after the expiration, but they still replaced it for me.

Make a Genius bar appt. and show up early! Be polite and smile and if they say sorry we can't replace it ask to speak to the manager. :D
