Every now and then I like to start over and factory reset a device and start over. I a noticing lots of people saying that IOS7 is really bad.
Now I am having no issues but on the odd occasion there is some lag, overall though I am very happy.
My question mainly is to find out the difference between two actions.
If I were to factory reset and start over I am sure I would notice an increase in some speed, but what is the difference between that and say reset device and then after restore from Icloud? Would I notice an increase with the restore as well? Would I be better of resetting and redownloading some apps etc (doing some spring cleaning in the process) or would a reset and restore practically be a reset but with the luxury of having my data again? Would I gain performance in much the same way as a reset and wipe all data?
I notice there is some considerable space under "other" in Itunes when looking at the device, would this go after reset? (I guess this could be when I did an OTA update on the device ages ago but not certain)
