Iphone reset setings, can not unpair Apple watch

so i started having issues with notifications on my iphone ... So I I did a reset setings for the iphone ...
I then noticed that my apple watch did not receive notifications anymore .. So I unpaired my watch with the apple watch app.
The app says my watch is unpaired ... But my watch still links to the phone as if paired !!
Is there a way to force factory setings on the watch itself ???

Yeah just tried that after i did the post !! Seems to have worked thanks
