Same as it is now. There is no way they are going to double it again, and I needs to stay where it is at for compatibility with existing apps.

The physical screen size MAY go up, but the number of pixels will stay the same. In effect we may see BIGGER pixels, and a lower ppi...

There is no way for it to get any higher than it already is.

As it is currently, you supposedly cannot make out a pixel with a normal eye. So what would be the point or value of having even more?

Resolution can certainly get higher. We already have phones with a much higher resolution than the iPhone. I think some people are confusing resolution with ppi. They are not the same. Whether it will go up or not with the new model of iPhone is a mystery to me, and most people who live on this planet we all share.
