I've searched for a solution to my problem unfortunately most of them involve a jailbroken/hacked iPhone, of which mine isn't.
I was trying to restore a iPhone to give to my parents to use, so I did it manually from the phone itself. It was supposed to take an hour and looked like it was gonna take that long, so I got impatient and forced restarted the phone and as expected the 'connect to iTunes' image came up. I connected it, iTunes said it found a phone in recovery mode.
The phone is still on 2.0.1 firmware. When I click 'Restore' in iTunes, it'll extract, prepare the phone, update, and then begin to verify. After a while on verification, it'll say that it failed and give me the 1013 error.
Then I get the 'iTunes has a found a phone in restore more'. I've tried the things in this Apple Support Page.
How do I fix this? Or do I need to take it to a Apple Store?
Thanks,
Sammich
