recently, i was trying to restore my iphone 4 on my mac book pro and i received this message "the iphone could not be restored. the device is't eligible for the requested build". what does this mean and why cant i restore my phone?

thanx!

What version of iOS are you restoring? iOS5 or 4.x? I think Apple has stopped signing 4.3.5

what does that mean that my "Apple has stopped signing 4.3.5"?? i am using an iphone 4 with 4.3.5 (8L1) and modem firmware 04.10.01. this is so frustrating.

That means once Apples stops signing 4.3.5, you can restore to that particular firmware (unless you have SHSH blob). Therefore, you can only restore to OS5 at the moment.

How about trying Ifaith? I heard alot about this but I never try, so I can't give you any instruction or personal experience on it.
