I'm wondering about the iPhone's return policy. I bought it right after the price reduction, which was almost 30 days ago. I've heard about a 30 day period and a 14 day period. Which is it? Or are there two periods with different terms?

The phone works fine. I just want to return it because I'm upset about the implications of the 1.1.1 update for 3rd party apps and concerned that there won't be an SDK, and I don't want to lock myself into a closed platform.

So my question is, can I return the phone to the apple store inside of 30 days? After 30 days?

Apple has a 14 day return policy.

AT&T has a 30 day cancel service policy.

If you hate AT&T you can still get out of that but you will have to sell the phone if you don't want it.

If its been more than 14 days you cannot return it anymore.
