iPhone return policy. ??????????

Ok... I got my first ip4 on release date, yesterday I called apple regarding my proximity sensor, after hearing my problem they decide they're going to send me a new one... I decided that if this one is giving me the same issues I am done with iPhone 4... Question is : does the 30 day return start over once I get my new phone or is it still from the original date? Also, if i return the phone for refund, will I regain my upgrade eligibility? Thanks in advance.

If they are doing a return then the 30 days shoul toll when they ship your new phone. Yes if you return your iP4 for refund you will regain your upgrade eligibility. It takes a few days for it to get into the system though. It's not immediate.
