I don't recall this from any of my previous iPhones but I might be way off, but I'm experiencing an issue.

When you have earphones on and you get an incoming call isn't the ring tone only suppose to sound via the earphones? Atleast that has been my experience (I think) anyways I returned my original iPhone 4 and just picked up a brand new sealed iPhone 4 and noticed this right away.

Let me know if this is normal or if I need to take this back.

The ring will play through the headphones and the speaker, unless the phone is on silent.

It does this because, if you left your headphones plugged into the phone, and walked away, you wouldn't hear the phone ring for this reason.

Ok, well my problem is that it's ringing in ear and from the phone as if there were no ear phones plugged in.
