iPhone running hotter on 8.1.3?

I carry my 5S in my shirt pocket. Since upgrading to 8.1.3, I can feel the heat from the phone, which I couldn't before.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Try restarting your phone. Some process may be using cpu for no apparent reason.

FWIW, my iphone 6+ only runs hot when I'm playing a game.

It's because spotlight is indexing and listing your system and its files. It usually happened after an update and will go away soon.
