My iPhone 7+ and my son's iPhone 8 have been adjusting for Daylight Savings time correctly since we go them new and through every adjustment for Daylight Savings Time since new. Until last night. Every other device (we have about 10 in the family with iPads, iPhones) adjusted correctly, but not these 2 phones. We went into settings and it is set to "Set Automatically", however, the time zone, which has always said "New York", now says "Etc/GMT+5" The Etc time zone DOES NOT adjust for Daylight Savings Time and does not correspond to any actual country, it's kind of a virtual time zone, but it is not helping me keep time in my physical location. Both phones are running 13.3.1.

We are in the middle of the Eastern Time Zone - not close to a border with Central Time Zone or Atlantic Time Zone. The phones have never done this before and not all our phones are doing it. However, since our phones are linked to our Apple Watches, our Apple Watches are also off. Argh.

I know I can easily fix the issue by turning off "Set Automatically", but then I will have time drift and if I travel the phone will not adjust automatically.

I have turned it on and off. I have turned Set Automatically On and Off, I have made sure when in manual set it is in the New York Time Zone. Not sure how to get a carrier update, but there is not one available under Settings About where they used to appear.

Anyone else have this type of issue? Anyone know how to fix it?

Hopefully this is not a "duh moment" I am going to pay for with social disgrace.... ugh.

We did that. Now every one of our iPhones is doing this time zone problem. If we drive about a mile away it then sets itself correctly. Could be an issue with Sprint (among many they have)?
