Has anyone installed screen protectors without getting a single speck of dust trapped under the phone? I wiped it and new dust lands on it as soon as I’m done. I thought I got rid of it all but there was 1 speck still there causing an air bubble.

I am terrible at this, I go to the local phone shop here.

I read that you should do it in the bathroom after a hot shower, when it’s hot and steamy.
Because of the steam, the air is dust free in that moment.

never tried it myself, but I will this weekend for my Spigen film on my watch.

I've never used a screen protector on all my phones and I'd never consider using one on my next phone either.
None of my phones' screens over the years ever got scratched

Good for you! Had the same mindset, until I scratched my iPhone 8 after 2,5 years. It ruined the phone for me.

after that I will never go without again.

The local shop can do it with no dust getting trapped?

Here in the Netherlands we got phone fixers that pop out of the ground like mushrooms. They have Ali express covers and whatnot. But one thing he can do really good and with no dust, is applying this things.
I even got warranty one time, when he did.

When I used to use screen protectors I would install them in a bathroom with the shower on hot so the room fills with steam. Steam causes dust to settle and the protector can be installed without any debris getting trapped.

I would recommend Spigen’s EZFit... it comes with a tray and installation is super easy. Do it in the bathroom and turn on hot water in the sink.

Depends on your screen protectors.

If it is the cheap plastic one, you can just use two tape. Put on on top of the screen protector, so it can peel the screen protector upward.

Using other tape underneath the screen protector and remove the dust.

If it is glass one, carefully remove it and use type to remove the dust, then reapply.
