I'm new to the iphone screen replacement game and I have a question concerning the LCD & DIGITIZER

Is the LCD and digitizer the same thing?
or what is the lcd and digitizer exactly?

and where can I get one for under 45 dollars?

The digitizer is the touch panel and glass. The LCD is the screen. If you don't want to do the repair yourself, it will cost $200 for the LCD and Digitizer at iResQ.
