Hi guys,
I was hoping somebody might be able to help me out.
All of a sudden, and for no apparent reason, the screen resolution on my iPhone 3GS has changed.
It now only displays (approx) 1/4 of the original screen.

Whilst in this state, it does have the ability to 'scroll' around the entire view, which suggests that it could possibly be a feature of the phone. However, it is near impossible to navigate through any settings because whilst 'dragging' the screen to 'scroll' across, you inadvertantly press buttons and activate unwanted features.

I cannot (at the moment) think of a way to post an image of this due to location and a lack of components. If it makes any sense though, the screen I see (regardless of app, or page) is 4 times the size it should be. Therefore, at the home screen I can only see 4 of the App buttons rather than all 16.
Alternatively, it's a little like the phone is stuck on the zoom feature you which can be used in photos and when using the internet.

Any suggestions?

One last question. When on the home screen (or any other for that matter), is it possible to use the 2 finger 'zoom' feature? I wondered if the phone has, for some reason, got stuck in the zoomed mode. I don't recall ever using zoom outside of certain apps, and cannot test it myself now.

Double-tap three fingers on the screen. You're in screen zoom mode, for people with poor eyesight that want to use the device. Turn it off in Settings --> General --> Accessibility if you don't want it to happen again.
