iPhone screen stays dark

I first noticed this today on my iPhone 3g but had problems with my old one too. My iPhone when pressing the unlock button or the home button will not unlock at all? The screen will not come up to allow you to unlock the iPhone. If I call the phone it will let me accept the call but once the call is over the phone is then locked.

That happens. It happens on the first iPhone v1 and now on the 3G.

Just a little glitch.

I've never had this happen to me.

I upgraded my originals software last night. Anyway this morning my phone rang and the screen stayed black could not answer the call or see anything. Had to press the lock button a couple times then got the reg screen. Had to check missed calls to see who called. Anyone have this problem?
