iPhone screen won't work

Hi, i have an iPhone that has recently seen water, its a friends phone. I have tried using another screen, same results. When i connect the current screen to another iPhone, it works. The iPhone works, is fully functional (suggesting by VoiceOver and some thing that says something about Airplane mode out loud.) but the screen remains black. Any solutions?


EDIT: If I take another screen and take the chrome plastic off and shine light through, I DO see the screen and can use the phone.. anyone know which pins are for the backlight?

I would say the power supply for the back lighting on the circuit board is likely damaged from water and there would not be a way to fix.

Just a guess but that is what it sounds like if you can see an image with a outside light source.
