iphone screenshots appeared in my photos file on my 1st generation iphone

i'm not sure how this happened and i wish that i had not deleted them so i could show them but i was deleting photos on my 1st gen iphone when i noticed that somehow i had screenshots. two were of different home pages, the other was a screenshot when i was texting someone. how could i have taken pics of what was on my screen? especially when i was in the middle of texting?

You can take screenshot by pressing the home and the lock button at the same time. This is a system level shortcut so you can even do it in games and such. You may have pressed it by accident.

oh thanks! actually i was doing it on purpose, lol. my phone was freezing a lot so i would press both of those buttons to shut it down! i didn't realize it also took screenshots. thank you ^^
