why doesn't the screenshot function mind the accelerometer?
i.e. if i'm holding the phone sideways, and take a screenshot, it should be that way on my Camera roll...but it isn't

rotate the phone sideways in the camera roll to view it sideways

it always shows images right side up based on how your holding the phone, regardless of how the image was taken

example: i have the phone sideways (landscape) while watching a video, i pause it. take a screenshot of whatever cool thing i was watching

go to camera roll. the picture shows up as full screen when i hold the phone up right (so i'm looking at the picture sideways)..when i turn the phone sideways, the picture rotates, and goes small to the center of the screen
as if the picture was taken in...portrait
screenshots always show up the same way regardless of how you hold the phone

Yeah, basically the OS always takes screenshots as if the device is in portrait mode, regardless of whether or not it's actually in landscape mode. I agree, it's an absolute pain at times.
