iOS iPhone SDK 3 installation Issue

I have downloaded iPhone SDK 3 from apple developers site and installed using following steps.

1. Double clicked the dmg file and it got extracted into new folder with 3 files.
2. Double clicked the installer and installation started.
3. I followed the instructions and in the change location option, i cannot specify the folder as there was no option to choose the folder. Only the drive is displayed as there is only one partiotion.
4. So i clicked next and i believe developer is the default folder where it gets installed.
5. I got the message Installation is completed successful.

But i could not find any icons or shortcuts to start xcode.

Can anyone help in solving this issue

P.S. And if you want to change the install folder (and not use the default of /Developer), you need to specify this on the screen before the Install Location button, surprisingly. More details are provided on this in Step by Step Instructions section of the iPhone SDK Read Me file.
