macOS iPhone SDK certificate question

I'm having trouble compiling the iPhone sample apps for the iphone/touch (I get an error that the certificate can't be found).

I've installed my iPhone Developer certificate on my keychain and it shows up under "Certificates" there but not under "My Certificates" for some reason.

Any idea why the certificate wouldn't appear under "My Certificates", and whether that's the problem? Any suggestions?
