Hi!

I'm just trying to find out how best to protect an iPhone SE 2020 against dust and drop damage. On my old iPhone 7 I used a MOUS case and a screen protector – the main thing I wasn't happy with is that dust got caught between the case and the back side of the phone which then caused scratches/marks. So I'm looking for something that is more dustproof. I've looked at Otterbox and Lifeproof cases that fully enclose the phone, but people often seem to have problems with the touchscreen protector in these cases (less responsive or scratches really easily or screen gets blurry etc.). Also, the sound quality is often problematic and the durability of these cases seems to have declined.
Another option would be to just use a good bumper case and protect both the front and the back with screen protectors.
What do people think? Any good recommendations? Price is not that important, I just want something that works well and is very durable.

Thank you!

I have this bumper on my 12 Pro Max, along with a glass screen protector on the front and a glass protector on the back. The case is very thin as if I don’t have a case on it at all. I’m sure they have something like this set up for the SE 2020.

Getting your phone scratched by dust/grains of sand trapped between your case and phone can be really frustrating. Unless you're using the type of cases you mentioned above that seals out dust, the problem you're facing will persist.
So, the Otterbox / Lifeproof case would be your best bet.

It's really difficult to avoid dust and sand (even if you don't visit the beach often), which is why we recommend removing your case to give both it and your phone a good clean with a moist microfibre cloth every 2 weeks or so. Basically, you don't want too much dirt accumulating between the phone and case.
