For those who need more battery while being mobile, this case will fit the need. When you need more battery, slightly more bulk isn’t the immediate consideration.

If you don’t need the case, why did you bother posting in the thread? The thread isn’t about whether you think the case is bulky or not.

Does this Apple's battery case power the iPhone instead of the built-in iPhone's battery? basically preserving the built-in battery and prolonging its battery health and reducing charge cycles or does it use the iPhone's battery first and after it drops below a certain threshold, the Apple case starts trickle recharging the built-in battery in which case the iPhone is still powered by the built-in battery?

It uses case battery before phone battery.
