Hello. I recently got an iPhone SE 2nd gen and am noticing something odd about the display. It appears that the colour saturation seems to fluctuate from being nice and rich to somewhat washed out and it’s really strange. It’s as if there some adaptive mode happening but I can’t figure out how to just keep it looking good and rich like I’m used to on other iPhones I’ve used in the past.

It definitely sits on the more washed out side most of the time and every now and again I’ll notice the saturation has increased and the colours of the apps all look great but before long I’ll click back to the home screen and it’s not as vibrant anymore.

I’ve tried turning off True Tone but it’s the same issues. I restored it from a backup when I set it up so I tried factory resetting and starting fresh but it still persists.

Its really disappointing as I haven’t noticed an iPhone screen look so washed out before and I’ve used an SE 2nd gen in the past without noticing the problem.

I did update to 14.6 when I first set it up, possibly could have something to do with that? Anyway just wanted to see if anyone else has noticed this?
