Hello everybody,
I own some fantastic iPhone SE3 and the original Apple silicone case. But this time the case is sort of separating its upper soft layer "rubber" foil from the harder plastic thin base layer sitting right on the phone. I am not aware that I would have stressed the case much. It just goes into the side pocket of my jeans and out. My other Apple iPhone cases would have lasted years with more utilisation of this kind.

Has anybody encountered the same problem please? It is my first Apple product ever that develops any kind of early damage.

Not a problem? Well from a functionality standpoint the anti slip effect is almost gone. And it looks like having had some severe sunburn with chips peeling from the skin.

I’ve had this happen to several of their cases, both silicone and leather. Apple did replace one that was particularly bad, when asked.

Is it the white one? I wondered why few weeks ago Apple stopped selling these ones.
Maybe they realized a problem and changed materials but couldn‘t adapt it to the white colour?

I‘d still contact Apple. (Once Upon a Time) when my iPhone 4 (antennagate-) bumper showed tears in the rubber part, they replaced it instantly in-store.
On the other hand, I‘m waiting daily to see the same issues you have on my silicone case. The type of coating just asks for it.

I went to my next Apple Store today and they exchanged it for free without any discussion. Great service over and over again I have to say. I had an (unbroken IIRC) iPod replaced and upgraded to a better model, a Powerbook battery replaced for free, a motherboard replaced, first I thought I need to buy a new one but then Apple said they replace it for free. This service level is unheard of anywhere where I live. Never had Apple care.
