I'm trying to get my store credit. I sold my Iphone a month ago but I have my serial number on the receipt. for example -011245102004265. This isn't the exact serial number, but when I put it in, it asks for a valid Iphone serial number. Are there more digits for the actual iphone serial number. Do I need to add a 0 anwywhere.

it goes to the phone that is activated you will not get it

that is correct. you get a text message with the access code. you have to enter the phone number you registered the phoen with.

Turn your phone over and read the serial number. It is printed on the back of your phone.

Oh wait, you sold yours. Sux2bu.

Oh, and good luck calling the guy you sold it to asking for the request code so you can get a rebate that should be for him.

Are people REALLY this stupid?

Guys, I sold my car last year and the new owner totaled it. How come I can't get the insurance check for it?

if he sold just the phone but still has the phone number he could still get the txt msg.

im in the same situation

i have 2 iphones

gave one to a friend cuz he lost his.

i will be claiming my rebate on that phone and it will most likely push the sms to my current iphone even with a different phone...the number is the same.

however if this guy doesnt even have a phone with the sim with the phone number then who knows.
