iphone showing unread Message

I just searched the in box and it went on the server. I found what I needed and then hit the cancel (the search). now the phone shows 1 unread e mail. Must have been from one of the many searches I did. How do I find that message or cancel the unread (1) indicator on the phone?

It fixed itself.
