Just saved my 4.3 blobs and I noticed that the SHSH blobs are now only 5kb, they used to be around 60kb. Even my previous blobs that were 60kb are now 5kb, I'm assuming this is normal... Can anyone else confirm?

Mine are ~8KB, but I'm relatively green with tinyumbrella.

+1. i pulled both from apple & cydia, they are 5 KB each. hopefully they are true, as i don't need to go to 4.3, just yet..

Apparently the SHSHs are compressed now. Open a large file and a small file in a program like BBEdit and compare the amount of lines in each. They are similar in length and content.

i am dreaming now...if there is a way to open & edit .SHSH, would someday be a way to adjust & create .SHSH for a particular handset & iOS ? i mean if you were late to get your 4.0.1 bloobs, we can compare 4.1 & 4.2 bloobs to get impression for 4.0.1 bloobs ?

better put my smoking pot off ..

No, it's public key encryption. It will NEVER be cracked unless theres a leak, or a disasterous flaw in implementation.
