I replaced my cracked screen at a repair shop 4 weeks ago, and a week later my home button stuck & the voice control kept popping up. I took it back, and they fixed it.

Another week later, it happened again. Then they fixed it.

So, each week something keeps going wrong with my phone that I have had for almost 3 years.

Today, my phone shut off, and I turned it back on. Later it turned off again and wouldn't come on unless I plugged it in. I was able to turn it back on while plugged in, but it just says "Searching" in the top left area where the bars are. Then there is a red dot over the call button. I called my phone, and it goes straight to VM. Also, when I go to settings to see my phone number it says "unknown".

Has anyone had this issue with getting a screen fixed and each week something goes wrong with it? They fix it, it works for a week then something goes wrong.

Best guess: Your chosen repair shop sucks!

I'd suggest using a different repair shop, or investing in a new phone.

Any phone that old is going to start to get glitchy and go down hill, anyway.
