iPhone Signal with an Otterbox Case

Just wondering if the signal is affected if the iphone its inside an Otterbox case.

What about other cases too...

Always had the same signal with or without my otterbox on.

Rubber or plastic should be fine , get into the metal ones and bye bye signal.

I have a commuter which isnt massive but when I tested it I did ten checks once a minute with the case on and the same off. It averaged to be about 4 dbm worse with the case on which is nothing significant.

I have conducted a small test with my otterbox, on my 4S when i would apply pressure on the sim card area and place a call, my service would be dropped, this seems to happen much more frequently with my otterbox commuter case on, this is on AT&T
