Hey I got the product red Apple Silicone case for my iPhone 8 Plus. I've taken it off a couple of times and have already noticed a couple of chunks taken out of the case. Do I have a defective one?

To be clear I am very gentile with my phones and phone cases.

Well these silicone cases are known to get damaged easily. However, considering it hasn’t been that long and you being gentle I’d go back to the Apple store and try to get a replacement. A lot of folks here managed to replace their Apple cases even with normal wear and tear.

Here's the thing though. I purchased it at an ATT store (I'm not an ATT customer) and lost the receipt so I have no proof of purchase.

I'm thinking of exchanging it for the product red leather case if they'd let me.

I actually brought it to the ATT store I bought it from and the guy grabbed a new one off the shelf, put it on my phone and took the old one. No questions asked and no proof I bought it there
