Hi,
I took my iphone to an iphone repair store to put a new back housing on it.
Now the sim card is hard to get out (you have to bend a paper clip and pull the sim card tray out of the iphone rather than push to eject. Any clues on what needs to be replaced or is a new back housing required?
Thanks

Whoever replace your back housing did not put/screw in the SIM card rejector lever. That is the reason you have to use paper clip to pull the SIM tray out instead of just press down into the hole.

well the real problem is he used an aftermarket (fake) back off ebay. they do not come with that hole predrilled. so he could not screw the sim ejector in. it can be done he just needs to heat the screw so it will make the hole. but did you now he was not using a Apple part?

Nope, he never told me anything.

Where can you get a back housing with that hole pre drilled?
