iPhone SIM Card

When I get my iPhone to replace my cell will I need to delete all the data off the SIM card so it does not put it on my iPhone? Example is I have MobileME so I do not need my contacts that were on the cell.

Oh I should have mentioned that this will be a hand me down not a new one.

Wont import automatically.

The iphone will not import your sim contacts automatically... so don't worry about deleting anything off of it.

If you did want to import your sim contacts, you have to do it manually by:
1. Open Settings.
2. Click Mail, Contacts, Calendar
3. Click "Import SIM contacts".

That only works if you have contacts already on the sim not phone.
