So I dropped my 3g today and cracked the screen, and I'm looking at repairing it at a mail-in place, so this is a two part question.
First, will my 3g sim card work with my old 2g? I tried putting it in and then it asked me to connect the phone to my computer and activate it, and it didn't recognize the card as having an active iPhone plan. Do I have to pay for a new plan in order to use my old 2g?
Second of all, does anyone have any recommendations on any sites that specialize in repairing the screen? My LCD is still functional, it's only the glass cover that's broken. I'm worried about getting scammed because most of the sites I've seen don't have any sort of credible user review.
