iPhone Sleep/Wake Button

Hi There
I have a 1st Gen Iphone and currently the sleep/wake button is no longer working!

Can you tell me if this is fixable and if so does anyone know where to get this done in the UK?

The phone is not what you would call legit as it was not bought on an 02 contract!?

If you didn't purchase your phone legitimately, then O2 cannot send your iPhone into Apple for repair. Honestly, if it's a first gen, just go get the new one.

Yeah I have just been out and got the new 3G on 02 so I am all legit now - but wanted to give the old one away and thought it would be good if I could get the button to work!

I'm having a similar problem, my Sleep/Wake button is beginning to get unresponsive.
