My slide-to-unlock section of my iphone is completely unresponsive to touch, except for the very occasional time the slider will move. I've seen many others with this problem online, and it seems a lot of them alter the sensitivity of the touch screen to solve it.

They seem to put alter a general.plist or touch.plist file of some sort so that they make the screen more sensitive. I have NO idea what this means. Could anyone put into simple terms how I would go about making my iphone more sensitive to touch? Thanks for any help! :apple:

Ive never heard of the iphone being able to enhance the sensor. but you can send it in to apple or go to apple store and they should swap it out with no prob. my mothers did that and they swapped it out and had it back in 3 days.

mine did this. i went to an apple store and they swapped it out on the spot.

They won't swap yours if you don't have AT&T. This is exactly what happened to me. I can't even slide to unlock so the phone is useless. :(
