iPhone sluggish after jailbreak and upgrade to 4.2

I'm thinking of doing it over but this time restore as new

Would this make it better?


Also my home button some times is not responsive , I think this started happening on 4.1 but I'm not sure
But it seem to get worse on 4.2 or maybe I notice it more


Did anybody else's phone get sluggish or slow after upgrading & jailbreaking from backup?

Hard to say, but the JB certainly does not change the performance one bit.

Either something is wrong with your specific phone, or the OS install. Try a re-install and see.

I did a restore as new

Much better now

Feels faster

The only thing I find sluggish compared to 4.1 is moving icons around (I know about the 8 apps in a folder solution).

Other than that mine seems to run just as fast as 4.1 did.
