I know I might get scorned but please bear with me.

I have currently an iPhone 4, and just bought an Android phone, HTC Sensation XE.

I've got my contacts over, but want my SMS over to my HTC as well.

I've googled but a lot of it is complicated. Is there a way people in here have tried and completed?

I'd there's some software (I have an iMac and Boot Camp), to buy to make it easier, and if it's not too expensive I'll get it.

Cheers

try google voice app.

your other end should have the google voice app also (either in iOS/Andriod)

Don't understand sorry what will this do? I want the SMS listed conversations?

Cheers

On Android, you can get an app called SMS backup, very simple to use. Check the app store, there might be something similar for iOS.

If so, simply back-up the messages, copy the file to Android, and use the backup to restore the files.

There are apps for the computer that allow you to extract messages from the iPhone backup and save them as text files. There is no simple solution.

Can you name one that works as it should please? Sometimes there's
Loads of software that says it does this and that, but doesn't really.

I was hoping for somebody who has actually done it for recommendations.

Cheers
